Our recommendations on the best jobs boards sites (agency independent) to post/get jobs for digital marketing specialists

I recently received a mail similar to ones I receive quite regularly saying about the difficulty of filling posts for new specialist positions - you can see the outline job specifications at the end if this post - they're for a conversion exec and content editor. My suggestion was to place ads in one of several services enabling you to post a job independent of the costly route of using an agency.

As far as I know, these services have the benefit that these are independent of agencies so can be more cost-effective since they attract a one-off fee and allow you to reach more potential candidates. Of course they don't provide the filtering process and a network of potential job seekers.

Of course knowledge about "Jobs boards" can help for both finding new team members and looking for personal opportunities too, so I thought it might be useful to some folks reading our blog too, so I've done a quick post - you won't necessarily find these with a Google search!

Specialist UK Digital marketing jobs listings boards

Below I've listed the main specialist sites companies can post their digital marketing jobs to which I'm aware of. As always, please add others and your opinions of which are best for particular types of jobs.

Or if you are feeling lighthearted you could consider hiring someone with one of these ridiculous job titles!

Also - don't think you can post on:

Here is the original email from my contact - please contact me direct if you think you're suitable for these!

"I'm currently struggling to recruit for an eCommerce Conversion Exec and a Content Editor/Designer - both on an initial 6 month contract but with great potential to continue significantly beyond that.

I've got a few agencies working on my behalf but they're all struggling to come up with suitable candidates. Can you suggest anywhere for me to try? Are there graduates in these fields who we could be approaching?

The Conversion Exec will need a good analytical mind (they'll work closely with the business analyst to look at where people are dropping out of the conversion funnel), also experience in user experience testing, and good industry knowledge of best practice are essential.

The content editor will need to have strong web design skills (inc. image and CSS creation), basic HTML skills and a sound understanding of user-centred design".
